W3Lanka: How to become a seller in Amazon.com and earn money

You can earn money by being a small scale seller of your products like books at Amazon.com. This is the way to do it. Open www.amazon.com in a different tab or a window and continue following the step by step guide.

First register in Amazon.com. Visit this page for new users.
You have to provide your email address and select a strong password for your Amazon account.
This page provides information on the Amazon.com services.
Under Sell on Amazon category, you can choose to sell things. For the beginning, select the basic plan which is free of charge. You can't sell many products here. You can sell less than 35 items per month through this plan.If you want to sell more, you have to buy a Pro account. You need to pay £25.00 subscription fee.
There is no monthly subscription fee for the basic account. The fixed closing fee is £0.75.
If you are a new seller you need to sign in again. Enter your email address and the password.
You will need a credit card number to proceed.
You will be prompted to enter your phone number and a call will come after clicking Call button.
As you click the Call button in the form, you will see a pop up window on screen and enter the PIN shown there into the phone via phone keys.You can read the number after the caller. This is an automated phone call.
Then submit the form for registration by clicking Register and Continue button..
Now you can Create a product to sell.
After that classify your product. Select a category from All Product Categories section
I selected media > printed media > books>
Then click Select
Fill the form. It is easy. There are some essential boxes to be filled.
