Sri Lanka's Colombo Fort magistrate Kanishka Wijerathna fined three Chinese national women today for vagrancy.
The three Chinese women were arrested by police in the night as they were walking on streets in Colombo in the middle of the night.
Police said to the court that the women have not employed in the positions mentioned in the passports during the time they had stayed in the country.
The magistrate imposed a nominal fine to them under vagrants ordinance.
The fine was just Rs. 10 per each Chinese woman.
