Witnesses identify the suspects of political murder of Sri Lanka

hree out of the four witnesses of the political double murder of Katuwana, Sri Lanka identified the suspect G.G. Amarasena alias Julampitiye Amare at the identification parade held at Walasmulla court today.

Julampitiye Amare surrendered to court on June 19 after the witnesses of the political double murder gave evidence that he was present among the attackers.

Two supporters of Marxist People's Liberation Front (JVP) including a woman was killed in an attack by unidentified thugs at a political meeting of the JVP.

JVP accused that the government politicians were providing security to the suspects of the case and agitated for their arrest.
