The relevant Minister is also to be questioned in relation to a coup to assassinate former President Mahinda Rajapaksha in connivance with Liberation Tigers of Tamil Ealam (LTTE).
Sources say that the ex-Minister has obtained money from LTTE for providing information to assassinate the former President.
A file which is related to this crime has been vanished from the relevant authority and sources say it is being put together again.
Several LTTE cadres who were arrested pertaining to the case were later released.
The ex-Minister has allegedly joined the Rajapaksha regime to avoid legal action.
