Both the President and the ex-President did not speak to media after the discussion.
However the discussion was held for over half an hour. Sources say Mahinda came for discussions late.
Arch rivals from the two factions, Kumar Welgama, Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Dallus Alahapperuma and G.L. Peiris from Mahinda faction and Rajitha Senarathna, M.K.D.S. Gunawardhana and Duminda Disanayaka from Maithri faction participated in the discussion.

SLFP will not nominate MR or anyone else as Prime Ministerial Candidate. Therefore this talk will be in vain. Maithri may forgive but do not forget.
