Udaya Disanayaka, an ex-employee of Avant Garde Maritime Security Company which is under probe now, lodged a complaint in CID today against the company regarding international illegal arms trade.
Udaya Disanayaka claimed he had worked in Kenya as an operations manager of Avant Garde. He accused the company of violating laws pertaining to firearms, foreign exchange, labour, immigration and emigration.
He directly accused former secretary of Defense Ministry Gotabaya Rajapaksha of engaging in illegal arms trade and accused Sri Lanka had supplied arms to rebels in Ukraine, Nigeria and Sudan. He also charged arms were supplied to Al-Quida and IS too.
He accused the company has three more floating armouries other than the Mahanuwara ship which has been taken into custody of Sri Lankan security authorities.
