* Charred body recovered near Colombo

Athurugiriya police recovered a dead body which was being transported illegally in a van.

The body was half burnt when it was arrested by police.

The body is believed to be of a 40 year old man of Galle. The man has reportedly been tortured and killed.

The van, the driver and another person has been arrested.
