* Sri Lanka's former Defense Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksha seeks one billion rupee damage from JVP

Former Secretary of Sri Lanka Ministry of Defense Gotabhaya Rajapaksha has sent a letter of demand to People's Liberation Front (JVP) lawyer Sunil Watagala seeking Rs. one billion damage for lodging a false complaint against him at the Bribery or Corruption Commission.

JVP's former MP of Ampara district Wimal Piyathissa lodged a complaint in the Bribery or Corruption Commission regarding a fraud in relation to building three bus stands in Ampara district parallel to the developments for Deyata Kirula development exhibition at the cost of Rs. 130 million in 2013.

Gotabhaya has sought damage from JVP even before the complaint was probed by the Bribery or Corruption Commission.

That JVP man said" money has been deposited in the Gotabhaya s private account" the very honest finance minister!!! Did accused Gota to have deposited money in his private account! These are born liars! They are the thieves! JVP is gaining money from U.S. embassy! Gotabhaya is very correct to have demanded one billion from these frauders!
